Three-day Decoy Programs

For officers having a desire to become a K9  handler, the best foundation you can have is that of developing yourself  as a decoy.  The role of a properly trained decoy to assist in the  development of young police dogs as well as in the maintenance of more  experienced dogs cannot be understated.  A decoy is the vital link  needed in the proper development and control of any police dog.

Our school provides you with the foundation you need to properly assist in the development of well rounded police dog teams.  

The three day program covers a multitude of training dynamics including:

– Understanding and recognizing drives

– Proper agitation techniques 

– Proper sleeve and suit presentation  
– Muzzle agitation
– Understanding the Role you play
